What You'll Do
- Prepare meals according to resident diet specifications under the direction of the Dietary Supervisor
- Ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and served on schedule
- Follow all dietary procedures and sanitary regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of cooking experience for a sizable group (long-term care or institutional setting preferred)
- Ability to accurately quantify and prepare recipes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A service-focused mindset with a desire to learn
- Positive, can-do attitude and excellent attendance
