Experience: 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech required
License: BLS, ACLS required
Certifications: ARRT-R or equivalent OR RCIS is required

Must-Have:
Dysrhythmias and moderate sedation skills for RN candidates.
Scrub and document skills for Cardiac Cath Tech candidates.
Knowledge of vascular cases is necessary.

Description:
This position is for a Cardiac Cath Tech.
The facility is a community-based hospital in an urban area.
It has a total of 351 licensed beds.
The hospital functions as a Chest Pain Center and a Stroke Center.
The department averages 5-15 cases per day.
Candidates must possess 2 years of critical care or Cath lab experience.
Patient types include those needing Impella, IVUS, OCT, and IABP.
A 3-person call team exists within the department, which can include RN, RT, or RCIS.
Technological equipment includes EMR with EPIC and Hemosystem Hemodynamic Monitoring.
Travelers are required to work 4-10 hour days per week with rotating on-call shifts.
Weekend shifts will require rotating call, every 5th weekend.
Response time for on-call duty is expected to be 30 minutes.
The department culture is described as fast-paced and high acuity.
