Sam's Club #6213 – 700 N 54th St, Chandler, AZ 85226-1502 Position Summary Operate and maintain forklifts, manage inventory flow, provide member service, uphold safety standards, and contribute to a positive customer experience in a high‑volume retail environment. Responsibilities Comply with company policies, procedures, and the Open Door Policy to promote ethics and integrity. Operate forklifts safely while picking, moving, and placing merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and prioritize tasks using company data, resources, and collaboration with managers, coworkers, and customers. Receive, organize, and store merchandise and supplies, managing inventory flow and maintaining accurate logs and paperwork. Provide member service by recognizing member needs, providing guidance on self‑service technology, and resolving member issues. Maintain facility safety through regular safety sweeps, hazardous materials handling, and reporting unsafe conditions. Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation, including zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, and ensuring proper display of promotional items. Assist with club pick‑up orders, ensuring products are selected, staged, and audited for accuracy. Track inventory to maintain stock levels, control shrinkage, and use inventory tools safely. Identify and act on technology needs, engaging members and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior forklift experience with certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Customer service experience. Retail experience. Experience supervising a team.
