As a Security Officer Part Time Customer Service in Ironton OH this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.47 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities including interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points verify visitor and contractor authorization and maintain accurate visitor vehicle and activity logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations incidents and maintenance concerns clearly and promptly and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
