Come join our team!/ppThe Sample Assistant/Material Handler will be responsible for managing the regional sample fulfillment and provides technical support as required. Responsible for routine warehouse product organization and material handling regarding sample shipping, sample receiving and sample packaging duties. Unload finished goods from containers and pick orders while maintaining an organized yard and warehouse. As well as supports the warehouse areas by shipping/receiving products, loading and unloading product. Assists in other areas of the warehouse and division as needed./ppstrongKey Responsibilities/strong/pulliManages sample order fulfilment with limited supervision/liliSchedules and conducts technical knowledge meetings/certifications with limited supervision./liliFamiliar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures./liliReceive daily orders pick list, pull order and package samples for delivery./liliUnload/load containers in a timely and safe manner./liliAssist with warehouse duties as needed./liliReceive daily orders pick list, pull order and load quartz slabs on truck for delivery./liliUnload/load containers in a timely and safe manner./liliOperate forklift as needed./liliAssist customers in a friendly manner./liliMaintain and organize warehouse/yard./liliFamiliar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures./liliAssist with product order filling as needed./liliFollow all safety rules./li/ulpstrongQualifications/strong/pulliMust have a high school diploma or GED./liliMust have a clear driving record./lili1-2 years similar warehouse experience./liliTechnical training or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years of relevant work experience)./liliExcellent multi-tasking, organization and documentation skills./liliGood verbal and written communication skills./liliBasic computer skills./liliDemonstrated competency in the use of hand tools and other industry related equipment./liliDemonstrated ability to read drawings and work to written procedures./liliMust be able to operate a forklift.
