This role requires strong caregiving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate schedules quickly in urgent situations. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and experienced in assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).ResponsibilitiesProvide direct caregiving support as needed, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and feedingRemain on-call and available during assigned weekend hoursRespond promptly to call-offs, emergencies, or schedule changesEnsure continuity of care and proper caregiver coverageCommunicate clearly and professionally with caregivers, clients, and supervisorsFollow all care plans, safety protocols, and company policiesQualificationsProven experience as a caregiver or in a similar healthcare support roleStrong knowledge and hands-on experience with ADLsExcellent communication, organization, and time-management skillsAbility to multitask and make quick decisions under pressureDependable, flexible, and responsive during on-call hoursCompassionate, professional, and client-focusedPreferred SkillsPrevious on-call or weekend caregiving experienceFamiliar with in home care shift and schedulesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPhysical RequirementsAbility to assist with transfers and mobility as neededAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift in accordance with caregiving duties
