Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Registered Nurse (RN) Detroit, Michigan. The role provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. The nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation is used to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching, while effectively communicating pertinent information to the healthcare team. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts with block scheduling available, including 6:00 AM2:30 PM, 6:00 AM4:30 PM, or 6:00 AM6:30 PM, with options for five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or three 12-hour shifts starting at 6:00 AM. Minimum of 40 hours per week. On-call coverage is required: 48 hours of call per six-week schedule, with availability needed for 1 weekend per month.
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing (Michigan); Basic Life Support (BLS) (CPR); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (required); Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; OR experience; Cardiac scrub experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN.
• Additional Information: The assignment duration is 13 weeks. Interview format is phone or Teams (15 minutes). Certification requirement includes BLS.
