Chef Manager

Job Details Our client in Buffalo is hiring Chef Managers. Salary: $25 - $28 per hour. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Develop and implement innovative recipes that cater to client needs and preferences. Manage a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and motivation. Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards per ServeSafe regulations. Collaborate with management to develop menus, set pricing, and ensure profitability. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary. Handle food-related concerns or complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction. Stay up-to-date with latest culinary trends and techniques to continually improve offerings. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef Manager or similar role. Certification from the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and Certified Executive Chef (CEC) preferred. Current ServeSafe certification. Exceptional leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent culinary skills with passion for creating innovative and delicious recipes. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to work in fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen with understanding of budgeting, cost control, and profitability. Minimum of 5+ years experience in food service industry, focusing on recipe development and management.
