About the Position

Job Opportunity – Case Manager RN – Alaska

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, day schedule with varying start times. Every other weekend required (or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule). 70 hours guaranteed per two-week period. Monday through Friday business hours with weekend coverage as needed to meet departmental requirements.

• Diverse patient population across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• 13-week assignment with the possibility to float within case management services to support departmental needs

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license required prior to offer
• Minimum 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience (behavioral health experience does not qualify)
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification preferred
• ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
• Experience with discharge planning, medical necessity determination, InterQual criteria, and care coordination preferred
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Microsoft Office/Teams proficiency preferred
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years required
