Location: Paramount, CA  
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm (rotates monthly)/ Open to Weekends
Payrate: $18/hour

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for preparing and verifying materials, maintaining proper production conditions, ensuring accurate packaging and labeling, and assisting with the production process.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, able to follow established procedures, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Extrusion Operations

• Verify that the correct materials are being used for production.
• Set and maintain the appropriate operating conditions based on the material being processed.
• Monitor production activities to ensure materials are processed according to established procedures.
• Verify that finished materials have the correct packaging and labeling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Report material, equipment, or production concerns to the Foreman or Supervisor.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Foreman within the scope of training and abilities.
  

Compounding Operations

• Verify ingredients and materials against established production formulas.
• Accurately weigh additives and production materials.
• Deliver materials to production areas and assist with material movement as needed.
• Remove completed materials from production areas and organize them for storage or further processing.
• Follow production procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Foreman within the scope of training and abilities.
  

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, extrusion, or compounding experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow production instructions, formulas, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to accurately measure and weigh materials.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.
• Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
• Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with a manufacturing environment.
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to handle and move production materials as required.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
