We're a collaborative organization where ideas are valued, initiative is encouraged, and employees have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Do As our Internal Applications Developer, you'll play a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving Beacons, our proprietary internal business application, along with other supporting systems.

Work directly with stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, analyze workflows, and turn business needs into effective technical solutions. Solve Complex Problems:

Investigate application issues, troubleshoot data discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement reliable, long-term fixes. Improve Data & Reporting:

Develop and optimize SQL queries, reporting processes, data integrations, and validation controls to support accurate business decisions. Drive Continuous Improvement:

Lead appropriate testing, validation, documentation, and change management efforts to ensure solutions are dependable and meet business expectations. Collaborate & Support:

Serve as a trusted technical resource, helping internal teams understand system functionality and successfully adopt improvements. What We're Looking For We're looking for a developer who is equally comfortable digging into code, analyzing complex data, and having conversations with business stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience in application development, internal business systems, business analysis, or a combination of these areas. Hands-on programming experience with C# and/or Java; experience with both is preferred. Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks, ideally Dojo and/or Angular. Experience with reporting tools such as Microsoft SSRS, data integrations, and APIs is a plus. Ability to gather business requirements, document processes, develop technical specifications, and support testing. Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for understanding complex business calculations, data relationships, and financial processes. Experience with accounting, pricing, billing, commissions, or other financially sensitive business applications is highly desirable. Experience in payments, fintech, or transaction-intensive environments is a plus. What Will Make You Successful Beyond technical skills, we're especially interested in someone who brings:

A problem-solver's mindset:

You enjoy investigating challenges, connecting the dots, and finding solutions that address the underlying issue. Business curiosity:

You want to understand

why

something matters, not just what needs to be coded. Ownership & accountability:

You take pride in your work, follow through on commitments, and care about delivering reliable solutions. Attention to detail:

You understand the importance of accuracy, especially when working with financial data and calculations. Strong communication skills:

You can translate technical concepts into everyday language and collaborate comfortably with both technical and nontechnical colleagues. Initiative & adaptability:

You're comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and identifying opportunities to make things better. At Autoscribe, your work won't be buried in layers of development teams or disconnected from the people who use it. You'll have the opportunity to:

Make a visible impact

on the systems and processes that support our business every day. Take ownership

of meaningful development projects and application improvements. Work directly with business leaders

and collaborate across multiple functional areas. Expand your skills

by combining software development, business analysis, financial systems, and process improvement. Bring your ideas to the table

in an environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Join a Great Place to Work® Certified organization

that values its employees and the contributions they make. Ready to Make an Impact? If you're a developer who loves solving problems, improving systems, and turning complex business needs into smart technical solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
