Appian Senior Architect

Location: Fully Remote Duration: 6 + months Responsibilities

Implementing end to end process automation using cutting edge technologies

In collaboration with more senior associates, lead different parts of solution delivery along with internal technology, vendor and business partners.

Gather requirements through understanding of business users' needs and challenges.

Bring perspective on new technologies that could impact business, and conduct proof of concepts to test the hypothesis.

Support initial set-up of Appian.

Coordinate with application support teams during the solution development, deployment and support.

Test quality, troubleshoots and supports entire solution, across all components.

Ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team based environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

At least 3 years of recent hands-on experience with Appian

At least 1 years of experience developing Appian Plugin

At least 5 years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies.

Experience working with users to gather and refine requirements.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Certified Level 2 Appian Developer or Certified Level 3 Appian Developer

Experience defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations leveraging different architectural views.

Exposure to common industry platforms and programming languages – Appian BPM, IBM WebSphere, Mule, LAMP/JBOSS, HADOOP, Java, Microsoft/.Net is preferred.

5 years of experience in Enterprise Application integration (SOA, ESB) and n-tier client-server architectures preferred

Experience working with Appian Sites.

Ability to understand the long-term ( "big picture ") and short-term perspectives of situations
