CareCore at Mary Scott is seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our team! If you enjoy preparing great meals, take pride in your work, and want to make a difference in the lives of seniors, we'd love to hear from you.
Schedule:- Full-Time
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- Prepare and cook nutritious, appetizing meals according to planned menus and therapeutic diet guidelines.
- Ensure food is prepared safely while following all sanitation and food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and meal service.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
- Monitor food quality and temperatures throughout preparation and service.
- Work closely with the Dietary Manager and kitchen team to provide an excellent dining experience for our residents.
- Previous cooking experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Dependable, organized, and a strong team player.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with residents, families, and coworkers.
