The primary responsibility of the food runner is to provide assistance to the servers and bartenders. The runner will help servers deliver orders to customers in a timely manner.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESRestock alcohol fridgeRestock setting stations with utensils, plates, cups, and saltRestock food items at stations with labels on themWipe down and dry washed settingsCall for more tongs and scissors when on the last containerSend beer and shot glasses to the dishwasherWash water bottle capsSend water containers and tea kettles to dishwasherWipe down and sanitize stationRestock place matsWipe down expo cartsWipe down alcohol fridgeWipe down expo and runner stationAssist in running food out to tablesThrow away any leftover food and beveragesBreakdown carrier (salt, pepper, sesame oil)Wipe down expo and runner stationWipe down expo cartsAdditional essential duties as toldEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEStrong customer service operations skills preferredSuperior skills in interaction with guests preferredPrior runner and/or restaurant experience preferredSKILLS & ABILITIESThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop or kneel.
