We have an opening for a Deli Manager at our Spicer, MN, location. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the deli department, ensuring maximum sales and gross profits. We value customer service and community engagement and believe in providing a friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable associates, quality products, and competitive prices. Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of the deli department to achieve maximum sales and gross profits.
- Hire, train, and support deli associates to ensure a high-performing team.
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory, sales, and expenses.
- Ensure excellent customer service and foster positive associate relations.
- Manage scheduling of deli associates to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Control expenses while managing inventory and shrinkage.
- Ensure shelves are stocked and products are rotated using the first in-first out method.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail management, preferably in a deli or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and control expenses.
- Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
