From family-friendly activities to signature Margaritaville celebrations, we deliver fun, escape, and adventure in every moment.As our Resort Housekeeper, you will be responsible for regularly cleaning resort facilities, buildings, and rental properties to ensure the resort remains presentable and sanitary at all times. This position may require flexible scheduling availability.Job Requirements:Make beds to established resort standards, including changing linens, replacing pillows, and ensuring neat, guest-ready presentationClean, sanitize, and stock areas with products as neededEnsure all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properlyClean and sanitize appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold, and mildewDefrost freezers as neededClean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring they are well lit, and place rubber mats down to ensure safetyFollow all established safety procedures and precautionsReport all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to managerEnsure that the overall appearance of the resort, buildings, and facilities are well maintained and orderlyEnsure all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as neededEnsure all windows and screens are clean and functioning properlyMaintain washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, etc.Ensure all offices and buildings are clean and neatEmpty trash containers as neededEnsure all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as neededJob Qualifications:6 months of previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities is preferredDemonstrated knowledge of general janitorial workKnowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicalsBasic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internetThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors.
