Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Availability Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit serving cardiac and acute inpatient populations
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5–6 patients on night shift
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Participate in 1 on-call shift per 8-week block as required
• Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs in any color are acceptable (no hoodies or earbuds)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Maine
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry or a related acute care setting
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated telemetry experience in an acute inpatient environment
• Must be willing to work holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) experience
• ACLS certification (if not already held)
• Prior travel nursing experience in a similar unit setting
