Summer Camp Director

Circle Pines Center is a member-based, non-profit, 501(c)3 education and recreation center. Our mission is to teach peace, social justice, environmental stewardship and cooperation. We attempt to encompass this mission in our summer camp programming in addition to providing campers with a fun and safe space to grow and learn.

The Summer Camp Director(s) oversee all functions of Summer Camp. They hire summer camp staff, implement staff training, provide leadership and support, help with facilitating camper safety and cooperation, and help manage the office. They also provide back-up staff coverage as needed and communicate with camper parents. They will support staff and programmers in the development of camp activities. They facilitate all schedules. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or as needed to ensure the smooth operation of Summer Camp.

The Summer Camp Director(s) oversee staff that are responsible for the direct care and supervision of campers in all phases of the day, as well as planning and leading activities and programs appropriate for campers 7 through 17 years old. We encourage applicants who are lifeguard certified or interested in obtaining certification.
