An Ohio Licensed Intervention Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting students with special needs by developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to their unique requirements. This specialist is dedicated to assessing student progress, collaborating with educators and families, and ensuring effective communication to foster student success within the educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Conduct regular student assessments to evaluate educational needs and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure appropriate instructional strategies
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and challenges
• Document all assessments, plans, and communications thoroughly and accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in special education intervention
