Hygienists at Moorehead Dentistry value the opportunity to build trust, ease anxiety, and make a lasting impact through connection and reassurance. Our appointment times are not rushed - 90 minute new patient and 60 minute recall appointments.

Responsibilities

• Comfort and build rapport with patients
• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring optimal oral health for patients
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups
• Perform periodontal assessments and charting, documenting findings accurately in patient records
• Assist in the education of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences
• Maintain infection control protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care
• Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and documentation review

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• Commitment to compliance (OSHA, CDC, HIPAA)
• Experience with dental software (Open Dental preferred)
• Desire for continuous learning and professional growth
• Commitment to a five-star patient experience

This is an hourly non-exempt position offering an extremely competitive wage  +  SIGNING BONUS , aligned with skills and experience. We provide WEEKLY BONUS incentives, COMMISSION OPPORTUNITIES , and meaningful ways to serve our community together as a team. Our schedules can be very flexible. New graduates and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply.
