Join our team as a Facilities Operations Manager and help maintain the exceptional standards of Turning Stone Resort Casino and The Lodge. In this key leadership role, you will oversee our Rapid Response, Aesthetics, Carpentry, and Upholstery teams while managing projects, budgets, vendors, and daily operations. What does a Facilities Operations Manager do?
• Manages all aspects of the Rapid Response, Aesthetics, Carpenters, and Upholstery groups within Facilities. Ensures the teams in these departments are trained on, and consistently meet Turning Stone Enterprises' service standards.
• Responsible for scheduling Senior Supervisors to ensure sufficient coverage at all times. Approves schedules of all other team members within those groups to ensure for adequate coverage.
• Effectively trains and ensures all team members within the group maintain complete knowledge of and follow all Turning Stone Enterprises and departmental policies and procedures.
• Interviews and selects for hiring, and makes recommendations for separation of employment and also promotions for all team members within the groups which s/he manages.
• Properly provides team member evaluations. Coaches, directs and/or discipline team members when necessary and when appropriate. Meets weekly with Senior Supervisors to ensure they are meeting their goals.
• Determines sufficient levels of supplies and materials and ensures ordering of materials in a timely manner.
• Maintains complete knowledge of HOTSOS and ensures all team members are completely trained and using HOTSOS efficiently.
• Develops the budget for any work performed or new projects within his/her groups and monitors and manages work and/or projects in accordance with the approved budget.
• Responsible for directly overseeing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance at The Lodge to ensure that it maintains its existing Forbes 4 Star rating.
• Coordinates and oversees all aesthetics issues throughout the property and ensure the resort is maintained at our standards.
• Consistently maintains a professional working relationship with all departments and coordinates all work in their areas.
• Participates and assists the Director of Turning Stone Facilities in reviewing the engineering designs and construction of new facilities, alternations, or modifications to existing facilities.
• Monitors and oversees the work of external contractors/vendors to ensure terms of agreements are met and work is completed satisfactorily.
• Coordinates with other internal departments for the all internal and external moves of furniture, gaming machines, and any other equipment as needed. Ensures the department provides the necessary and required paperwork and approvals for all items going into storage with the Warehouse Manager and for the disposal if other items.
• Walks the property on a weekly basis, noting appearance deficiencies, and ensuring and overseeing the timely correction of any deficiencies. Develops and tracking mechanism for aesthetic issues and repairs for Turning Stone Resort Casino, including campus property and then monitors the status and timely complete of such tasks. Is the primary point of contact between the Facilities Department and other Directors and Vice Presidents concerning issue and resolution of aesthetic issues and repairs at Turning Stone.



• Effectively facilitates team member problem resolution through Senior Supervisors and Team Member relations.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Facilities Operations Manager, you'll need:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant project management experience; OR Associate's degree with 8+ years of related experience; OR 15 years of directly related infrastructure/construction project experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• AutoCAD/CADD and construction management software preferred.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Valid Driver's License required.

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 41 - 50 pounds.
