Quick Facts: Location: 1 Saint Francis Drive, Greenville, SC 29601 Start Date: 09/05/2026 End Date: Ongoing/intermittent coverage as needed Shift: ICU 7:00 AM 7:00 PM Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum/Contract License/Certs: South Carolina Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in Pulmonary & Critical Care Experience: 2+ years ICU & general pulmonology experience Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: Details discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You ll Do: Provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients in ICU and pulmonary consults Manage up to 10-15 ICU and 10-15 general patients daily Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and APCs Document patient care using Epic EMR system Participate in hospital coverage as assigned, with no call requirements Work across a hospital setting with up to 38 total beds, including ICU, CCU, and CVICU units What You Need: Valid South Carolina medical license and board certification in Pulmonary & Critical Care Minimum of 2 years ICU experience with adult patient population Strong clinical skills in caring for critically ill patients and managing complex pulmonary cases Ability to perform procedures required for ICU and pulmonary care About the Assignment: This position is located at a leading hospital in Greenville, SC, featuring a 20-bed ICU, 12 CCU beds, and a 6-bed CVICU. The hospital s daily pulmonary census averages 40 patients, and the team typically includes up to three physicians and three APCs. The facility provides advanced diagnostic and imaging support, with a focus on high-quality inpatient pulmonary and critical care services. The assignment offers flexible scheduling, excellent support, and substantial credentialing time to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
