Role Description Role Description The Audio Visual Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in San Dimas, CA. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and breaking down AV systems for productions, live broadcasts, and events, ensuring high-quality audio and video delivery. Day-to-day tasks include configuring equipment, testing system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining projectors, lighting setups, and video conferencing systems. The technician will collaborate with production teams and clients to understand event requirements, support rehearsals, and ensure smooth execution of live or recorded content. The role also involves routine equipment inspections, basic repairs, and documenting configurations to maintain consistent and reliable AV op erations. Qualifications Strong proficiency with Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including configuration, operation, and basic maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently across AV setups, with a focus on minimizing downtime. Experience setting up and supporting Video Conferencing platforms and related hardware. Hands‑on skills with Lighting systems and Projectors for events, studios, or live productions. Familiarity with live streaming tools, signal flow, and basic networking concepts for AV environments. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under time constraints. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused approach to on‑site support. Ability to lift and safely handle AV equipment, and work on‑site in event and production environments. Previous experience in audiovisual production, events, or broadcast environments is preferred. Relevant technical training, certification, or coursework in AV technology or related fields is beneficial. Audiovisual Technician will travel to both domestic and global locations .
