Interior Designer/Design Assistant

McBride & Yee Interior Design is seeking a talented and highly organized Interior Designer with 1- 2 years of professional experience to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Boston, reporting directly to the firm’s principals. In your role, you will work closely with both principals on the design, documentation, procurement, and implementation of high-end residential interiors. This is a collaborative, hands-on role requiring a strong design sensibility, exceptional organizational skills, and careful attention to detail. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with all phases of the design process, from initial concept development through installation Source furniture, lighting, textiles, wallcoverings, finishes, artwork, and accessories Prepare and maintain client presentations, material boards, specifications, and project documentation Produce and revise floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, and other technical drawings Request and organize vendor quotes, pricing, samples, and product information Assist with procurement, order tracking, and coordination with vendors, workrooms, contractors, and installers Maintain accurate project schedules, budgets, specifications, and product records Attend client meetings, site visits, construction meetings, showroom appointments, and installations Assist with field measurements and the documentation of existing conditions Help prepare for and participate in project installations and styling Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, vendors, tradespeople, and project partners Provide general studio and project support as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Business of Home
