• Shift: Days | 8, 10, or 12-hour options
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | No weekends | No mandatory call
• Pay: $31.35–$46.59/hour (based on experience) + Benefits

• 8-hour days: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• 10-hour days: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• 12-hour days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 32, 36, or 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday
• No weekends
• No scheduled holidays
• No mandatory call
• Seven paid holidays for eligible employees

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join its team-oriented Surgical Services department.

This physician-owned specialty hospital performs approximately 20 surgeries per day , with a strong focus on orthopedic procedures , including total joint replacements and sports medicine.

The ideal candidate will have solid orthopedic OR experience, be comfortable circulating across multiple surgical specialties, and enjoy working in a collaborative, efficient surgical environment.

-> Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Serve as a circulating RN for surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Pull surgical cases and assist with room setup.
• Establish and maintain appropriate sterile technique.
• Perform terminal cleaning and room turnover according to facility procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedural documentation, preferably using Meditech Expanse .
• Float to the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) as needed to assist with instrument management.
• Participate in cross-training opportunities in other departments.

Candidates should be comfortable supporting a variety of procedures, including:

• Orthopedics – Total joint replacement and sports medicine
• ENT
• Gynecology
• Spine
• Urology
• General Surgery
• Cataract Surgery
• Adult and Pediatric procedures

-> Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Kansas RN license .
• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
• Current ACLS certification through AHA or ARC.
• Previous Operating Room RN experience.
• Strong orthopedic OR experience.
• Familiarity with Zimmer and Arthrex systems.
• Ability to work across multiple surgical specialties.

• Experience with Meditech Expanse .
• Previous experience working in a specialty or surgical hospital.
