Hospital Lead Pharmacy Technician - Full Time

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring a Lead Pharmacy Technician at a behavioral health hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is a full-time weekday position supporting daily pharmacy operations in an inpatient setting.

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:00 PM (40 hours/week) Start Date: July 27, 2026 Weekend Coverage: None

Responsibilities include:

Filling medication orders
Delivering medications to patient medication rooms
Managing and stocking pharmacy inventory
Receiving daily warehouse orders and reconciling invoices
Processing medication recalls
Assisting with medication room audits
Supporting the pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

Active Arkansas Pharmacy Technician license required
National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
Inpatient hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Facility Details:

Behavioral health hospital serving adolescent and adult patients
HCS pharmacy system (training provided)
Omnicell automation (experience preferred but training available)

Orientation & Training:

Two-day hospital orientation required
Pharmacy training provided by the Director of Pharmacy and pharmacy staff
Mandatory orientation: August 1011

Travel: Local candidates preferred. Mileage and hotel reimbursement may be available for qualified travelers.

Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs in any color except blue
