Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
2. Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and achieve therapy goals.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
4. Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
5. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home exercises to promote continued progress and independence.
6. Adhere to ethical and professional standards and relevant state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of South Dakota.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in various clinical settings.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within South Dakota.
