About the Position

Our client in Louisiana is seeking an Optometrist for a 60-day assignment. This Physician will practice primary eye care within an integrated clinic setting, maintaining a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or call responsibilities. The role involves close collaboration with ophthalmologists and managing an average of 20 patients per day.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide primary eye care within the Department of Ophthalmology, Section of Optometry.
• Work within a clinic-based, integrated practice model with a strong internal referral network.
• Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists.
• Leverage support from specialists and sub-specialists throughout the health system.
• Handle a caseload where experience in contact lens practice and ocular disease is preferable.
• Ensure full PCF enrollment during the credentialing process.
