Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available

Holiday Inn Express – Plattsburgh, NY

We are looking for friendly, dependable, and guest-focused individuals to join our Front Desk team. Positions are available for our 2:00 PM–10:00 PM evening shift and overnight Night Audit shift .

Front Desk team members are often the first and last point of contact for our guests and play an important role in providing a welcoming, professional, and efficient hotel experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional customer service

• Check guests in and out of the hotel

• Process reservations, payments, deposits, and guest account transactions

• Answer phone calls and respond to guest questions and requests

• Provide information about hotel services and the local area

• Resolve guest concerns or communicate issues to management when necessary

• Monitor hotel activity and maintain guest and property security

• Communicate important information to other shifts and departments

• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area

• Assist with basic guest requests and hotel operations as needed

• Follow IHG and hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards

Night Audit Responsibilities

Night Audit employees will also:

• Complete overnight front desk procedures

• Review and balance daily transactions

• Verify guest accounts, payments, and room charges

• Complete nightly reports and end-of-day processing

• Prepare the hotel system and reports for the following business day

• Address overnight guest needs and concerns

• Maintain a safe and secure environment during overnight hours

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, customer service, or cash-handling experience is helpful but not required

• Comfortable working independently, particularly during overnight shifts

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Dependable and punctual

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel software

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns

• Must be able to work as part of a team

Schedule

Positions are available for:

• Evening Front Desk: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM

• Night Audit: 10:00PM - 6:00 AM

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

• Weekend and holiday availability required

• Schedule may vary based on business needs
