Little, nationally recognized as a "Best Firm to Work For" and one of the nation's most progressive design firms, is seeking a Project Architect with a passion impacting lives, for high quality healthcare design and a positive, collaborative work style, for our expanding Healthcare Studio in our Orlando, FL Office.

The individual selected for this opportunity will be working with clients on projects of varying size and scope, with the opportunity to work with a team dedicated to advancing breakthrough ideas through design. The types of work include any solutions our clients may need, such as interior fit outs, renovations, equipment/infrastructure replacements, and ground-up projects. Project types include, but are not limited to, master planning, interiors, ambulatory healthcare centers, diagnostics & specialty care, all levels of acute care medical hospitals, and behavioral health. This position will require a team member that listens to clients and team members while leading projects confidently; one that has a growth mindset, positive attitude, and looks forward to expanding influence within the team and industry.

• You have a variety of Healthcare Project Experience
• You are a resourceful and creative problem solver.
• You're enjoy working on teams – you want those around you to succeed and you're capable of taking direction or leading a project to deliver a great product to our clients.
• You are a great mentor/teacher of construction detailing.
• You're a strong listener, respectful in your interactions with others and have a positive outlook.
• You're a good communicator –verbally, graphically and in written form, people understand your ideas and the way you share them.
• You are organized and thorough – you understand how to work with and coordinate consulting partners and many moving parts to deliver a solid, final product.
• You have a strong understanding of design, space planning, spatial relationships and materials.
• You have a passion for sustainability.
• You have professional drive and still have fun while you work.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

- A minimum of 8 years' experience and ideal candidate will have depth in Healthcare design;

- Architectural license required;

• Strong Autodesk Revit proficiency
• Thorough knowledge of architectural design, detailing, codes, and building material characteristics;
• Thorough understanding of industry standards and building codes, including MEP design and medical equipment requirements;
• Ability to collaborate with multiple team members, consultant groups and stakeholders;
• Ability to understand the client and various stakeholders' vision and key factors for project success;
• Ability to travel as projects require; and
• High level of leadership skills, as well as clear and effective communication skills.
