Opportunities are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers to work on-site in a well-supported, inclusive, and resourceful school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year in the Glendale Heights, IL area. Join a collaborative team serving elementary and middle school students, and help students reach their full potential.

Openings include:

• Hall Elementary: Inclusion/resource role, supporting a small caseload of 9-10 students
• Reskin Elementary: Structured classroom serving high-incidence students, five students per class supported by two paraprofessionals
• Marquardt Middle: Co- taught/instructional ELA, caseload of 8-9 students

Engage with a strong support network and make a real impact through personalized instruction and care.

Qualifications:

• Valid PEL with LBS1 endorsement required
• Experience working with a variety of special education needs, including high-incidence disabilities, preferred
• Comfortable with toileting assistance and managing behaviors as needed
• Capable of collaborating within inclusion, resource, and co-teaching models
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
• Open to working in either elementary or middle school settings, per preference outlined in your application

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver instruction in inclusion, resource, or structured settings
• Collaborate with general educators and support staff, including paraprofessionals
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Support students in developing academic, social, and functional skills
