Public Area Attendant - Kahler Grand Hotel

Overview

Assure cleanliness of public spaces within the hotel, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas. Assists Room Attendants in order to maintain high standards of quality& cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash from public spaces
• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
• Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator door and buttons.
• Assist with pre-cleaning sanitizing of guest rooms
• Cleaning and sanitizing of public spaces.
• Assist houseperson when necessary
• Clean public restrooms
• Respond to guest questions.
• Provide guest assistance, directions, and information as requested
• Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc., to the Safety/Security Department
• Provide instruction and/or guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.

Qualifications

Physical mobility and stamina required, ability to follow instruction, detail orientated, professional attitude required, ability to work independently.

Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $16.10/hour.
