Community Cat Program Supervisor

Will work closely with medical teams, Humane Law Enforcement, and other departments and serve as backup to the Manager and other leadership, including attending and/or leading meetings, and assuming other leadership duties.Respond to escalated guest concerns, and regularly provide hands-on assistance to CCP team members to ensure timely and thorough completion of responsibilities. Be available to staff for questions and to provide guidance and coaching as needed.Assist with the coordination of trapping, caring, and returning (TNR) community cats to the field/their found location, including participating directly in TNR, and coordinating volunteers to do the same.Responsible for vehicle and inventory management and assisting with data tracking and administrative support for CCP.What we’re looking for:Requires an associate’s degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of full-time related paid experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and education.One year experience as a supervisor highly preferred.Experience trapping cats as part of a Trap-Neuter-Return program required; prior experience working with cats in a shelter, animal hospital, high-volume spay/neuter clinic or other similar environment preferred.Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.Must have a valid driver’s license and be approved by SDHS insurance carrier to drive a company or personal vehicle for work purposes.Location & Hours: Based at our San Diego Campus, with frequent travel within San Diego County required. This position works 40 hours per week.Pay: Starting range is between $26.60 – $29.61 per hour and is eligible for an hourly bilingual-Spanish premium.The listed hiring range for this position depicts the target range of pay rates for candidates. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. Compensation for internal candidates may increase beyond the listed range based on performance over time.
