Location

Open to candidates located in Texas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana . Candidates must be willing to travel to various city's in the central/eastern United States as needed.


Travel Requirements

This role requires regular travel ranging from 50% to 70% to project sites, typically for key milestones, site walks, or meetings with general contractors. Travel frequency varies by project phase and business needs.


Overview

We are seeking a junior to midlevel Construction Manager / Owner's Representative to support commercial and industrial construction projects with a strong focus on preconstruction activities, permitting, invoicing, and internal stakeholder coordination.

This role works closely with senior project leadership, general contractors, designers, and internal teams to ensure projects move smoothly from planning through execution. The ideal candidate is organized, detailoriented, and eager to grow within a fastpaced, multistakeholder construction environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Support construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Focus heavily on earlyphase project support, including:
  • Preconstruction planning and coordination
  • Permitting and AHJ coordination
  • Invoicing review and cost tracking
  • Internal stakeholder coordination and communication
• Attend all meetings with general contractors and project partners
• Assist with project documentation, schedules, budgets, and status reporting
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, utilities, and internal teams
• Support site visits, walkthroughs, and milestone inspections alongside project partners
• Track action items and followups from meetings and ensure timely resolution
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and local regulations
• Escalate risks, issues, or delays to senior project leadership as appropriate

Top MustHave Qualifications

• 3+ years of Construction Management or Project Coordination experience
• Experience supporting commercial or industrial construction projects
• Exposure to preconstruction, permitting, and invoicing processes
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong organizational and followthrough skills
• Clear communication skills and comfort working with multiple internal stakeholders and external contractors

NicetoHave Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting an Owner's Representative or clientside construction team
• Familiarity working with AHJs, permitting offices, or utility providers
• Experience attending and supporting GCled meetings and site walks
• Exposure to multisite or geographically distributed projects

Experience Level

• Junior to early midlevel professional
• 3+ years of relevant construction or project coordination experience
• Demonstrated ability to support multiple active projects and stakeholders simultaneously
