Job Overview A full-time Senior Associate or Counsel opportunity in Executive Compensation Practice, open to attorneys with at least six years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits. The role focuses on advising public companies on executive compensation, employee benefits, corporate transactions, and related tax and governance matters while maintaining substantial client responsibility. Duties Advise public companies on executive compensation matters and related disclosures Counsel clients on employee benefits aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions Draft and advise on executive employment, retention, and severance agreements Design and advise on equity and non-equity incentive compensation plans Advise on tax‑qualified and nonqualified retirement plans Provide strategic guidance on executive compensation and employee benefits compliance Manage client relationships and independently handle sophisticated matters Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's Corporate Practice on transactional matters Requirements Minimum of 6 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience Significant experience advising public companies Experience handling executive compensation disclosures Experience with employee benefits aspects of M&A and private equity transactions Experience with executive employment and severance arrangements Experience with equity and non‑equity incentive plans Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively with a team Strong commitment to client service Education and Certifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction Skills Executive compensation counseling Employee benefits law Public company securities disclosure knowledge Corporate transactional support (M&A and private equity) Drafting and negotiating executive compensation arrangements Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Client relationship management Ability to independently manage sophisticated legal matters Team collaboration and project management Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Prescription drug coverage with Health Savings Account option 401(k) retirement plan Life, disability, accident, and critical illness insurance Pet insurance Identity theft protection and fraud insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Health advocacy services Paid time off (typically 3–4 weeks) 12 paid holidays 24 weeks of parental leave (12 weeks paid) Family‑building benefits Back‑up child and elder care services Wellness program and Employee Assistance Program Student loan refinancing and concierge services Bar expense reimbursement and CLE opportunities Professional development programs Hybrid/remote work opportunities Relocation assistance (where applicable) Balanced Hours and Ramp‑Up/Ramp‑Down programs Employee referral bonuses and pro bono opportunities Performance bonuses and eligible expense reimbursements #J-18808-Ljbffr BCG Attorney Search
