Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Screening Operator in Chino, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a welcoming and orderly environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, packages, and/or belongings entering or leaving the facility in accordance with established procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points, employee entrances, and package-handling areas; verify credentials and maintain required screening and access-control documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
