About the Position

• Specialty: MS/Tele Float RN
• 13-Week Contract Assignment
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Guaranteed 36 Hours per Week
• Weekend, Holiday, and Call Rotation Required
• Float to Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatrics units
• Provide quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Monitor telemetry and cardiac patients closely
• May be required to assume charge nurse responsibilities
• Document patient care using MEDITECH charting system
• Follow patient safety protocols including safe patient handling and lift usage

(LN - CG)

Requirements

• Current NY RN License required
• Coronary Care experience required
• Minimum 1 successful travel assignment completed
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Previous hospital RN experience preferred
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles and patient care practices
• Ability to assess clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual patient needs
• Strong leadership, prioritization, and delegation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in stressful situations
