Each zone covers a 60 mile radius from the zone's city center which is where the 60 mile verbiage comes into play. The traveler is responsible for obtaining housing that makes this feasible as the requirement to float throughout the full 60 mile zone applies regardless of where the traveler obtains housing. Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are completed remotely ***THIS IS NOT LOCATED IN CENTENNIAL, CO! Does the charge nurse take an assignment?Designated Charge on each unit; doesn't take a patient assignment unless necessary; more common for night shift charge to end up with a small pt assignmentAre there nurse aids on this unit/RatiosNone; For sitter needs only Hospitalist or Intensivist in houseRT in ICU 24/7\"Designated RT for ICU- but may not be on the unit 24/7; RNs expected to be able to assist in troubleshooting and managing respiratory needs. \"RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc)Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow; Breathing treatments Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?No monitor tech; RNs are expected to read and interpret their own tele Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)\"7-7, Schedule is made out by leadership for 6 wks at a time, travelers are expected to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent scheduling.
