Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during the evening shift, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with policies
- Lead care planning, assessments, medication administration, and documentation for residents in the care setting
- Communicate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate services, address concerns, and maintain patient safety
- Monitor clinical performance, quality indicators, and regulatory compliance; escalate issues as needed
- Oversee admissions, discharges, and transitions of care; ensure accurate handoffs and continuity of care
- Promote infection control, safety protocols, and falls prevention; mentor staff on evidence-based practices

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program (associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
- Experience: minimum 1 year of nursing leadership or supervisory experience in a long-term care or hospital setting
- Ability to work evenings and every other weekend; comfortable with shift-based leadership responsibilities
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills; proficient in care planning and documentation
- Must be able to participate in a travel assignment and work effectively within a hospital-type setting in Lowville, NY
