Commercial Contracts Attorney (In-house, FT, hybrid)

Commercial Contracts Attorney (Hybrid / Full-Time In-House Counsel) Latitude is seeking a commercial contracts attorney to support the legal team of a rapidly growing fintech company. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong transactional foundation who is ready to take on more sophisticated work, greater responsibility, and a more challenging role in a dynamic in-house environment. Attorneys with experience in the financial services industry are preferred. Working directly with the General Counsel, the attorney will support a broad range of commercial contracts and play an active role in helping the business move transactions forward. Basic Requirements for Commercial Contracts Attorney (Hybrid / Full-Time In-House Counsel) 4+ years of relevant legal experience, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements Experience with an AmLaw 200 law firm, boutique firm, and/or the legal department of a fintech or other financial services company strongly preferred Practical, business-focused judgment and a demonstrated ability to identify solutions and move transactions forward Experience using AI and other technology to work more effectively and efficiently Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence Outstanding references Position Details for Commercial Contracts Attorney (Hybrid / Full-Time In-House Counsel) Type of Role: Engagement, with potential to convert to a permanent position Schedule: Full-time Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis; highly qualified remote candidates will also be considered Compensation Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $180,000–$220,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position). Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement.
