Job Description

Aramark Facilities Management is seeking a reliable, hardworking Groundskeeper to support the beautiful outdoor spaces at the Franklin Lakes School District. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining attractive landscapes, and values being part of a supportive team environment.

Full-TimeMonday through Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Consistent daytime schedule

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 to $22.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• As a Groundskeeper, you will help maintain and enhance school district grounds, ensuring all outdoor areas remain safe, clean, and visually appealing throughout the year.

  Daily responsibilities may include:

  • Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
  • Weed whacking and edging
  • Leaf blowing and seasonal cleanup
  • Pruning shrubs, bushes, and trees
  • Planting flowers, shrubs, and landscape materials
  • Assisting with event setup and outdoor preparations
  • Operating landscape equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other grounds maintenance tools
  • Cleaning and maintaining sidewalks, parking lots, and common outdoor areas
  • Supporting seasonal responsibilities including snow and ice removal when required
  • Performing minor maintenance on groundskeeping equipment
  • Following all safety policies and reporting equipment issues promptly

Qualifications

-Valid non-commercial driver's license -Strong work ethic and dependable attendanceAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. -Ability to safely operate or learn to operate landscaping equipmentAbility to perform physical work including lifting, bending, walking, standing, pushing, and pulling

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
