Associate Teacher

Employment Type: Full-Time 

Schedule: Monday through Friday; Hours are flexible between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Looking for a dynamic Associate teacher for a progressive preschool in the Santa Monica area. We are only interested in candidates who have a passion for the field and meet all the requirements listed. We're looking for people who love to get messy and have chosen early education as their career, not just a job. You must love children, that's a given. But you also must love life. Qualifications:

• All applicants must have a clear understanding of an emergent curriculum as well as the ability to work collaboratively. 
• The Associate teacher must be open to working with children 18 months - to 6 years old, genuinely resonate with our unique philosophy, and have an eagerness to grow within our school.

Requirements:

• 12 ECE units (B.A. or B.S. Preferred).
• At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Must be fluent in English.

Compensation: $22 to $26 per hour based on education and experience. Paid holidays and breaks after 60 days of employment. Health benefits package available, 401k after 12 months of employment, and Flexible Spending Account.
