Job Overview Western Secure Treatment Unit (WSTU) is a secure post‑adjudication facility that provides comprehensive services to young men (14‑21) using a trauma‑informed, strength‑based, gender‑responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions, we empower youth to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Provide general supervision and knowledge of policies, procedures, and licensing requirements within the program. Exercise independent judgment and authority on a daily basis through direction and supervision of students and staff. Create a supportive atmosphere for staff and youth needs. Monitor and document behaviors and activities; participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities. Evaluate and develop staff; collaborate with professional staff to establish and meet goals of staff development plans and each youth's treatment plan. Work a day shift with a schedule of 3.5 days on and 3.5 days off. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of experience working with at‑risk youth. Minimum age of 21 years. Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (no THC testing pre‑employment), physical, TB test, and child abuse central registry search.
