Location: Margate, Florida

Contract Type:  Travel Contract

Shift Type:  Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM with rotating weekends possible and on-call requirements

Hours per Week:  40

Candidate Pay Rate:  $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in high-stakes cardiovascular procedures, making a real difference in patients' lives
• Observe, assess, and deliver expert care from pre-op to recovery
• Master advanced equipment like Impella, ECMO, and bypass pumps to support complex surgeries
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team of RNs and techs in a 2-room unit
• Document precisely in Meditech while multitasking like a pro

Qualifications

• Active RN license with ACLS and BLS certifications
• 2+ years of current experience in acute OR settings
• Ability to scrub and proficiency across all service lines
• Critical thinker with excellent bedside manner ready for CVOR challenges

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in robotics, ortho, spine, GYN, vascular, and thoracic surgery
• Proficient charting and multi-tasking in high-pressure environments
• Hands-on with specialized tools like EVH, rapid transfuser, and laser extraction
• Strong team player who thrives in 1:1 patient care scenarios
