About the Role

The Company is in search of a Managing Director for its Chief Technology Officers Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of executive search engagements, working closely with a Senior Partner to ensure a rigorous and consultative approach. This role demands a professional with significant experience in retained executive search or a related advisory environment, capable of running complex search processes with a high level of client exposure and ownership. The Managing Director will be tasked with translating client needs into effective search strategies, leading a research team, and building trusted relationships with client stakeholders. Key to the role is the ability to challenge and support clients constructively, as well as to maintain a high standard of quality, professionalism, and follow-through throughout the engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong search strategy skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead and motivate a team through challenging situations. They should be commercially astute, resilient, and persistent, with excellent communication skills and a consultative mindset. The role requires a person who is calm under pressure, direct but tactful, and highly accountable. The Managing Director will be expected to work in a collaborative, yet highly accountable, environment, and must be prepared to take full ownership of their responsibilities.
