Job Title: Medical-Surgical RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Med-Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 pm - 7 am) Experience: 2 years License: Indiana RN License required Certifications: BLS through AHA required Must-Have: 1+ year of Med-Surg experience required Description: The position requires experience in bedside shift report, Foley care, medication administration, intake and output monitoring, charting, NG care, and head to toe assessments. Utilizes equipment such as Omnicell, Accucheck, and EPIC for charting and medication management. Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of Med-Surg experience. Specific licensures and certifications required include an Indiana RN license and BLS certification. This position involves 12-hour shifts with no floating to other departments. The nurse-to-patient ratio in this unit is typically 1:5 or 1:6. The dress code for this position is Caribbean Blue. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
