A busy clinic in the Baton Rouge area is seeking an experienced medical biller with the ability to keep a quick pace while maintaining strict attention to detail. This is an excellent long-term opportunity offering $16 per hour with benefits. Our client is hiring for an in-office position with full-time hours.Position duties:Prepare and submit accurate medical claims accurately and timelyFollow up on unpaid, underpaid, rejected, and denied claimsVerify patient insurance coverage and benefitsAssist patients with insurance coverage, benefits, balances, and payment arrangementsMonitor and maintain aging outstanding balances in accounts receivableRequired qualifications:2 years of previous in-office medical billing experience with a clinic or hospitalExperience working with EMR/EHR systemsStrong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, claims, denials, and appealsDetail-oriented and organized with strong written and verbal communication skillsSecure your future today!
