Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• State-issued Special Education Teacher certification, or eligibility to obtain
• Prior experience teaching in a special education or autism support setting preferred
• Leadership, creativity, and compassion in delivering individualized instruction
• Proficiency in developing and adapting IEPs and behavioral plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff and families
• Ability to foster an inclusive classroom climate that values diverse learning styles

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging, differentiated lessons for a K-2nd self-contained autism program
• Assess student strengths and needs, updating instruction and interventions accordingly
• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and service providers to support students’ academic and functional skills
• Develop and maintain effective behavioral and social-emotional supports
• Track student progress toward IEP goals and participate in data-driven decisions
• Communicate consistently with families to celebrate milestones and address concerns
