Amada Senior Care Bensalem, PA, is building a dependable team to provide nonmedical in-home care throughout Lower Bucks County and Northeast Philadelphia. Our caregivers help older adults remain safe, comfortable and independent in their homes while giving families confidence and peace of mind.

Our service territory includes Bensalem, Bristol, Croydon, Fairless Hills, Levittown and Northeast Philadelphia, including the Torresdale, Somerton, Bustleton and Parkwood areas. We work to connect caregivers with clients who are the best fit for their skills, experience, preferences, and availability, while taking location and client needs into consideration.

· Starting Pay and Earned Increases - Start at $16.00 per hour. Your base rate increases by $0.25 after each 250 hours worked - at 250, 500, 750 and 1,000 hours - for a total increase of $1.00 and a base rate of $17.00 per hour after 1,000 worked hours. Milestone increases are subject to Company policy. Eligible weekend shifts receive a weekend differential.

· Weekly Pay with Early Wage Access - Get paid every Friday. Eligible employees may also use the on-demand payment feature to access a portion of earned wages before the regular payday, subject to program terms and availability.

· Paid Time Off That Grows With You - PTO begins accruing on your first day based on hours worked, starting at 1 hour of PTO for every 40 hours worked. Your PTO accrual rate increases as you grow with us. PTO may be used after 90 calendar days, subject to Company policy.

· Voluntary Insurance Benefits - Eligible employees may have access to dental, vision, life insurance and other voluntary benefit options. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements, applicable waiting periods, plan terms and carrier participation requirements.

· Holiday Premium - Caregivers receive one and one-half times their regular rate for hours worked on Company-recognized holidays.

· Flexible Assignments - Day, evening, overnight and weekend opportunities may be available based on client demand and your stated availability.

· Paid Travel Between Clients – Caregivers are paid for required travel time between consecutive client assignments in accordance with Company policy and applicable law

· Paid Orientation and Training - All required orientation and training is paid at a separate training rate, which will be communicated before training begins. Caregivers also receive access to online caregiver-education courses and opportunities to strengthen their skills.

· Employee Referral Program - A $250 referral award may be available after the referred caregiver completes 120 days of employment and 160 hours of work, subject to the program terms.

What You Will Do

· Provide companionship, conversation and meaningful social engagement.

· Assist with activities of daily living and personal care within the caregiver's training and authorized service plan.

· Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry and organization.

· Provide medication reminders; caregivers do not administer medications unless separately qualified and authorized.

· Assist with mobility, transfers and fall-prevention practices as trained and authorized.

· Provide transportation or errands when authorized and when all driving requirements are satisfied.

· Observe and promptly report changes in the client's condition, safety concerns and incidents.

· Accurately document time and services and follow the client's care plan and Company policies.

What We Are Looking For

· At least two years of verifiable caregiving experience.

· A genuine commitment to helping older adults live safely and independently.

· Reliability, professionalism, compassion and clear communication.

· Ability to satisfy Pennsylvania homecare hiring requirements, including required background checks, references, competency verification and health screening (TB Testing)

· Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance when required for the assignment.

· Access to a smartphone for clocking in and out, reviewing care plans and documenting care through our mobile app. Training provided.

· Ability to perform the essential functions of the assigned position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

· Authorization to work in the United States and completion of all required onboarding documentation.
