Visit TextronSystems.com & Lycoming.com to read more about who we are and the products we make!Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team in supporting strategic weapon system and subsystem technical design solutions for our Advanced Programs. As a Systems Engineer IV, you will perform a variety of assignments including requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, and test. A strong candidate will possess at least 10 years’ experience in a Systems Engineering role. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, planning, execution, and test and evaluation aspects of advanced programs, ensuring that all technical requirements are met.QualificationsQualificationsParticipate in overall requirements traceability, system architecture definition, interface management, and risk management for assigned subsystemConduct system modeling, define concepts of operations, and manage requirements in support of system designDevelop subsystem and component manufacturing specifications across the system including verification plansGenerate subsystem and component test requirements and work with test team to plan, execute, and evaluate test eventsAddress Engineering Lifecycle requirements from development to manufacturing to fielding and operational supportParticipate in integration efforts at the subsystem and system level and support higher level program integration effortsContribute to milestone technical reviews and generate required design documentationFamiliarity with IBM DOORS and No Magic Cameo highly desired10+ years of related experienceEducation Requirements: BS degree in systems, mechanical, or electrical engineering, MS in Systems Engineering a plusFamiliarity with DoD major acquisition program processes and requirements.Ability to travel 25% of the timeActive security clearance required, eligibility for SAP clearance is requiredPreferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in engineering or related field.DoD test and evaluation certifications and experience.Experience with systems engineering, integration, test and evaluation.Top SECRET ClearanceHow We CareAt Textron Systems, our talented people make us successful.
